merge2md combines multiple Markdown and other text-based files into one document in your browser. Add individual files or folders, reorder them, and download the merged result as .md or .txt. File names and extensions are included so each section remains identifiable.
Processing happens locally in your browser, and your files are not uploaded to a server. The tool supports Markdown, plain text, source code, CSV, and configuration files, with up to 200 files and 5 MB per file. For formats such as DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, PDF, EML, or MSG, use WholeDocs.

How to merge Markdown files with merge2md
- Add .md or other supported text files by clicking the drop zone, dragging and dropping files or folders, or Shift-clicking to select a folder.
- Review the added files. If text is garbled, change the character encoding. Reorder or remove files as needed.
- Click Merge Files. merge2md combines the content and keeps the file names and extensions in the result.
- Use Copy, Download (.md), or Download (.txt) to use or save the result. Reset clears the current files and output.
